The Burlesque Adventures of Miss Lolly Pops
Ask me anything   Miss Lolly Pops is a playful burlesque performer with a feminist twist. On stage, she has transformed herself into a Suffragette, a clean beaches campaigner, Bettie Page, a security guard and even Lady Gaga! Lolly is a member of vaudeville cabaret group The Rebel Rebels, co-producing shows and performing with them since 2009. She has also created bespoke acts for private parties, and has appeared in variety events at Last Days of Decadence, The Cavendish Arms and the Royal Vauxhall Tavern.

    I won a photoshoot with Anna of The Roustabouts and decided I wanted to take along a wedding dress I bought off eBay last year for a wedding themed burlesque act. I didn’t have any photos or video of the act, and the dress takes up a lot of space at home, so I want to put all that white satin to good use. I wanted the sort of dark make-up that usually looks a bit wrong with a wedding dress - this sort of thing, only more creepy. Images from the shoot will follow.
